Plagiarism in dissertation writing – is it allowed?

Dissertation is a paper that can not be written on the basis of the certain example, since its contents is too wide and its length- too extensive to just copy or paraphrase somebody’s writing. Consequently, dissertation is your own piece of writing with unique information inside of it.

So, plagiarism is prohibited in dissertation just like in writing any other type of the paper. The only difference is that plagiarizing information, somebody’s words, ideas for dissertations is punished much more severely than while writing your essays or term papers. Any way, plagiarism should never be an option for you.

However, this is allowed to read somebody’s dissertation writing ( especially, an excellent paper) and adapt some ideas on organizing your contents or ways of presenting information. Furthermore, teachers are providing students with dissertation writing examples to give students a better of idea of how an A+ dissertation should look like. Asking for a sample of dissertation writing, consulting your teacher on the tools of analyzing dissertation writing information is a good thing to do.

When you know your examiner’s expectations, the deadlines and its grading system you have more chances of producing a good dissertation. Unfortunately, many students are too lazy or too busy to find out about their dissertation committee’s requirements.

Information  for writing your dissertation should never be plagiarized it should come from the reliable sources and your examiner should approve its quality and organization.

Having an example of dissertation always saves your time, but may prevent you from writing your own thoughts and following somebody’s else ideas. So, you should get used to producing your own, original dissertation and you will be proud of yourself.
